KINGSTON, ON / July 4, 2018 Charities and not-for-profit organizations may now apply for one-time grants of up to $25,000 for local programs and projects through the Community Investment Fund.
This granting stream combines funding from both the City of Kingston and United Way KFLA through one simplified application process. It encourages an innovative and collaborative response to social needs in our community.
The 2018 Community Investment Fund grant application form and guidelines are now available at www.unitedwaykfla.ca/funding/fund-distribution/ on the United Way website.
The deadline to submit applications for City and United Way funding is Wednesday, Sept. 12. Applications can only be submitted online this year. For more information, all interested agencies are encouraged to attend the information session on Tuesday, Aug. 7.
Information Session: Aug. 7
An information session to answer questions about the Community Investment Fund is set for 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 7 at the City’s housing and social services offices at 362 Montreal St. This session will include a demonstration on how to navigate the online grant forms.
