Collins Bay Institution Yard Sale for United Way: Oct 1 8am-2pm

Donations sought for Yard Sale

What: Collins Bay Institution is asking for donations of items for their annual yard sale. Items will then be sold with proceeds to United Way KFL&A. They are looking for donations of clothing, games, furniture, toys, home décor, books etc.

Where: Donations can be dropped off at the Collins Bay parking lot and the sale will take place there as well

When: Donations accepted Sept 26 – 29 from 7-9am and again from 2-5pm.

The Yard sale will take place on October 1st from 8am – 2pm

United Way of KFL&A would like to acknowledge this traditional territory’s longer existence and its significance for the Indigenous people who lived and continue to live on Turtle Island.

We are situated on traditional Anishinaabe, Haudenosaunee and Huron-Wendat land. There are Métis and other non-status First People from many Indigenous Nations present in our community today. This acknowledgement symbolizes the United Way KFL&A’s first step, of many, along this path toward Indigenous reconciliation, in a respectful manner.
