The United Way KFLA campaign has just crossed the $2 million mark, thanks to the hard work and support of volunteers and donors. To date $2,049,714 has been raised. This represents 60% of the $3,400,000 goal that was announced at the Campaign kick-off on September 11, 2015.
There is still time to donate and support local programs. The 2015 campaign will wrap up on November 30 with a Touchdown Breakfast at the Ambassador Hotel. “Thank you to our many dedicated volunteers and supporters,” said United Way President & CEO, Bhavana Varma. “With 40% to go, donors and workplaces are encouraged to report their results and send their donations to United Way.”
Last year, United Way funded programs helped 85,000 people in our community. For more information or to donate, please visit www.unitedwaykfla.ca.
