KINGSTON, ON. / Aug. 4, 2016 Charities and not-for-profit organizations may now apply for one-time grants of up to $25,000 for local programs and projects through the Community Investment Fund.
This granting stream combines funding from both the City of Kingston and United Way KFLA through one simplified application process. It encourages an innovative, entrepreneurial and collaborative response to local social needs.
The 2016 Community Investment Fund grant application form and guidelines are now available on the United Way Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox & Addington website. This year, the application form is online by popular demand.
The deadline to submit applications to United Way KFLA is Monday, Sept. 12, 2016.
Information session: Wednesday, Aug. 10.
An information session to answer questions about the Community Investment Fund is set for 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 10 at the City’s housing and social services offices at 362 Montreal St.
