United Way strengthens the voluntary sector by offering training and workshops
to non-profit organizations throughout KFLA. The Leadership Development Services (LDS) public workshops are designed for board members, senior staff and volunteers to build capacity and develop the skills needed to become effective leaders.

Risk Management:  Are You Ready for the Next Crisis
Date: March 31, 2021 4:30 – 7:30 pm
Facilitator: Kim Murphy, Queen’s University
Location: Virtual via Zoom

Risk can be defined as anything that threatens the ability of an organization to achieve its mission. Learn to identify sources of risk, describe the risk management process and identify strategies to manage risk, including addressing the risk of a global pandemic.
