The “Seeing is Believing” bus tour provides United Way volunteers with an opportunity to see first hand where their donations go as they visit local agencies and programs, and meet frontline workers and recipients of services.
We’d like to introduce you to the people who work every day to make a difference in our community, to hear the stories of those whose lives have been changed; and to see the impact of your gift to United Way.
Seeing is Believing Tour Testimonials:
“Thank you for putting on this tour. This is a fantastic opportunity. I will be going back to my work and doing a presentation. I hope it helps my co-workers see this fundraising in a positive way.”
“I am familiar with United Way that fundraising dollars are local, but I had no idea how the money is distributed. It has been very interesting to learn that the organizations are held to a very high standard in terms of how the money is used.”
“So great to see the direct impact of United Way funding – wonderful combination of support, service and social interaction.”
