Free, fun events remind parents & caregivers to Take the Time, Make the Moments Matter
Kingston, ON (April 24, 2019) – United Way Success By 6 Week is a fun-filled week with over 120 free events and activities for the youngest members of our community. Once again this year, activities for children 0-6 years, their parents and caregivers are being held across the entire Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox & Addington region.
This annual initiative runs from Monday, May 6th to Sunday, May 12th, and aims to increase public awareness about the importance of early childhood learning and care. The week provides opportunities for young children, their families and caregivers to participate and have fun together.
Success By 6 Week events have been planned in five categories – physical activities, learning activities, environment, drop-ins & playgroups, and fun activities. This year there are several new events including Flower Moon Festivities, Music with Grand-friends and Zoodles of Fun, as well as returning favourites like Touch the Trucks, Parent & Tot Swims, Cupcake Decorating and Teddy Bear Hospital.
The week also features French and bilingual events including Décorez votre assiette!, Activités: EarlyON, and Story Parties.
