Having a solid, well-constructed fundraising plan can help put your organization in the lead. This workshop will guide you through the steps of preparing a case for support, creating a plan and implementing it.

  • Understand the steps to take before beginning to create a plan
  • Build a case for why donors should support your organization
  • Gain insight into identifying donors
  • Tips for making the ask
  • Understand the importance of monitoring your plan and stewardship of your donors
  • Analyze your results

Facilitator: Bhavana Varma is President & CEO of the United Way Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox & Addington. An experienced facilitator with over 20 years in the not for profit sector, she brings insight and learning from her work with boards and staff locally and nationally.
